HEMA stands for Historical European Martial Arts. I generally use this for all forms of historical swordfighting whether or not they are European.

I'm currently a director of The Melbourne Salle (Australia's first full time HEMA studio)

I also teach Japanese Kenjutsu at the Salle.

For those who are getting into HEMA I've also put together a list of books that you might be interested in.
